New house, boring living room!

Dining Room Table Ideas?

Hi! We'll be moving into an apartment with a sizable dining room area, which we haven't had before and would love some ideas of what type of dining room tables/chairs would work with the room. I'm really not a fan of the chandelier but not sure we'll be able to replace it since it's a rental. The built-in cabinet and stained glass windows could be a nice touch though. We're based in the US and on a tighter budget so I'd like to avoid spending a ton of money on a table alone. I was thinking of a 4 seat sized table but open to 6 and our style is more modern/clean vs. formal, rustic or farmhouse-esque. Thank you!

How do I decorate a wall behind a floating couch?

Hi everyone!

So my SO and I decided to float our couch in our living room because our space is on the smaller side and we needed somewhere for my his desk to go. I'm open to moving the desk because I think its definitely too small for the wall, but mainly I'm just wondering what to put against that wall either furniture wise or art wise--the wall is pretty dang big. I also dont know where the desk will go if and when its moved

couch to wall is about 6ft, floor to ceiling is about 10ft and wall length is around 11ft

We are in the US and have a smaller budget but can add things in increments :)

My own space. Master bed, wanting a.. sitting area/living room?

I share a house, however want my own space as I pretty much live in my room. Between video games and netflix Id kinda like my own space for a couch and a table? But still beable to see it from bed. So sorta like a studio apartment.. but just bedroom and living room mixed..?

Ideally.. I want a mix.. but I have no idea where to even start with that. But I didnt want to separate everything. So ultimately the colors Id like would be greens, white, grey, and a bit of brown and black. Forest, plants, sorta stuff. I have a walk in closet with a vanity/desk-ish place which I didnt take pictures of. However Im not sure if a desk would kinda be out of place. If I could sort of add onto what I have now that would be nice. Like a place to craft or some small shelfs on the side of it. Likely would painting it white, than stain the doors and stuff a darker brown. With the idea of putting that stuff in the walk in. As I doooont have enough clothes or shoes to fill it.. It would give me plenty of space for my computer/crafts/sewing. Which would mean I wouldn't have to really blend them into the room.

If I recall the fireplace doesn't work. I was planning on kinda putting something in it just for decoration. Id like that sorta of to the be the focus? Might be able to figure out a shelf or mantle for a tv if that where the case. Alternatively I do have a low tv stand if putting the tv above the fireplace is a nogo. I dont want things to just be placed against the wall and call it good. If possible to kinda have the bed area separate from the rest. I feel like this is sorta all over, Sorry.

Blank Canvas (but we have a massive couch)

Any help/ideas would be appreciated!!

We're moving into a new apartment soon and are so excited. We're a little nervous about how/if our couch will work with the floor plan though. It's massive - 12.5' long with a 6' chaise on the left side. Here's a link to the sofa. Pictures included too.

The couch does come apart - the chaise detaches from the other 2/3. But not sure how two separate armless pieces would look, although we're open to all ideas at this point. Thoughts?

Need ideas for new room

North America/ Working with maybe 1-1.5k

Got a new house with some homies. Need more ideas on what to add to my room. I'm going for a chill techy stoner vibe. So far I got the google home and some smart light strips/bulbs, tapestries, and a few accessories or my computer set up and that's it.

Still need a bed, couch (couch and bed duo?) Table, 1 or 2 nightstands, standing lamps, rugs maybe, computer desk and some plants.

Also whatever else you guys might suggest that I haven't thought of! I love anything like what I mentioned above and pop culture movies/TV shows, video games, anime, 420 and trippy. Just imagine a dope tech savy therapist office that you can smoke and party in, thats what I'm going for.

Just comment with what type of item your showing {"This is a rug, lamp, bed, ect."}

Need Input: Dining room space as a spare bedroom/ home office

Hey guys,

There's this one room in my home which was never designed with any intention so it has just ended up being a holding place for extra furniture.

Right now, this room functions mainly as a place to paint, read, and as a place for friends and family to crash when they need a place to stay. When guests use the room, we put opaque curtains up in the doorways & the couch folds out into a bed. For that reason, I think the couch will have to stay.

Still, I would really like to redesign the room it so it's a bit more functional. I've been working from home a lot and I'd like to set this space up so it can serve as a home office (with a desk and book case) I would love to get some suggestions for furniture & layout... ways to efficiently use the space.
