Missing a lamp, wall art, and plants. What would go best with my space?

I was thinking an arched floor lamp but wanted to sit it in between the couch and recliner. That obviously won’t work because I would need to move the recliner into the walkway. Would it look weird to have the lamp directly behind the couch and hang over? Or maybe a tripod lamp on the other side of the couch in between the gap of my couch and wall?
I'm also looking at some wall art but don't know if it has to match my color scheme? I feel like my overall palette could use some color but worry this would be too outlandish for my apartment.

Bed styling tips?
I am trying to style my queen bed. We previously only had white bedding and two pillows. I got two shams and square pillows to add to it, but somehow it still looks off? I don't know if it's because my headboard is too low? I don't want to overload on pillows just for the aesthetics but 4-6 pillows in total I'm okay with.

Garage entryway help?
Our door from the garage is our main entry way, especially in the winter when we park in the garage. We rarely go through our actual main door (on the side of the house) because it's less convenient and there are steps up which I avoid with our stroller/dog/baby combo.
My problem is - the part where we come in from the garage gets SO dirty (we live in a new development and it's the sand from the snowy roads) and it's also where you have to go through to get to the powder room. So any time we go to the restroom, the muck gets all over the main floor.
Another thing... the closet door and the garage door both open outwards so it always bang onto eachother. And when my family comes in the house, we all jam in that little spot I highlighted as we take our shoes off/hang our stuff/try to stuff our bodies into that little space... I've thought of taking out the closet door and wall just to make it more open.
One solution could be to store our shoes in the garage and take them off before we go inside, but I'm terrified of bugs. I'm convinced there are microscopic little bugs crawling in all garages so not sure this will fly.
Or we could go in through our actual main entrance on the side of the house, but then we do not have a closet in that area... And hubby is not down for it, nor does he see this as an issue lol.
Any suggestions?

This is our only space for a dining table. It can’t come much closer to the camera due to a stairway. What would you do with it? Ideally, we want to fit 6-8 people. We’re looking for a new dining table and benching/seat combo that works with this corner.

Decorating a raw Wall Bed Mount
I found out about these gas piston powered murphy wall beds and to me it's got everything I need. Can use real mattresses, easy lifting mechanism, and not exorbitantly expensive. https://www.wallbedking.com/en/
Problem: It looks ugly as well. They only seem to sell the bed frame + lifting mechanism and nothing else. I have no idea about interior design.
