Looking for color suggestion

I have a chair very similar to this one. I cannot remove it but would like to use 3 pillow covers to spruce it up. What color would be best? https://imgur.com/a/lpqFg93

I have a mirrored closet with gold hardware. Mint green nightstand, unfinished wood bookcase, walls are a blue grey light & trim is white, windows have a black trim, bed sheets I have rotating color pattern mixes of light purple, light green, & light grey.

Which design is better? The first you can watch tv from the kitchen 30 feet away and the opening where the TV covers isn't part of the design of the house, just something my mother did

Help updating the mantle! Oak needs to go /be painted, and the marble is boring. Would like to put fire crystals in instead of wood in gas fireplace. Any suggestions? Paint? It's a solid piece of hardwood, beautifully crafted... But doesn't fit with the house anymore. House is going gray & white.
