Help updating the mantle! Oak needs to go /be painted, and the marble is boring. Would like to put fire crystals in instead of wood in gas fireplace. Any suggestions? Paint? It's a solid piece of hardwood, beautifully crafted... But doesn't fit with the house anymore. House is going gray & white.
