The room is 13x13ft.

I am planning on buying black out curtains or new blinds for the summer.

Located in the U.S.

I'd prefer to spend no more than $50-$100

Totally down for DIY. I built the wooden desk and the bed "stepping platform"

I'm open to all suggestions!
