Hello,
So my bathroom is pretty small. The ceiling is actually beige, with the bathroom being green. It ties in with the rest of my apartment which is all beige with one accent wall in each room, so I understand why the previous owners painted it this way.
My plan was to paint it all beige, with the wall behind the toilet to be Behr Dolphin Blue. I like it because it is a mix between grey and blue. I was going to add some industrial shelves above the toilet, since my apartment is an industrial loft. The white closet door to the side I was also going to make dolphin blue. The floor, I was going to do FloorPops in black and white. The hardware in the bathroom I was going to switch out to matte black ones. Unfortunately the handicap bars I can't remove at the moment, but the towel bar above the toilet will be removed.
The biggest change I want to do is change the pedestal sink to a vanity, and this has been my biggest challenge, because I want something to match the dolphin blue and the beige. I was thinking of just a plain white vanity that I can put a matte black faucet and hardware onto. I just don't know how this will all look together. I'm also unsure if I should paint the white door or not. I was also looking at grey vanities, but would a grey vanity match the dolphin blue?
A lot of the time when I try to design my apartments they always end up looking eclectic, and I really want to keep the place matching, like the previous owners did. Would it be weird to paint the whole room white?
