bedroom that has 3 walls of windows

I’m moving into an apt where I have a very tiny bedroom that has 8 windows across 3 of the 4 walls. What kind of curtains should I use? And what colors? I have lighter wood bedroom set and I have a yellow quilt and I have either orange or space sheets that are multi colored. My decor is mostly space/alien/x files themed.

Need advice for the bedroom area in my loft apt

https://imgur.com/a/4OSeFN1

Would it be too cluttered if I put a small dresser to the right of my bed? Or should I get some storage wall-unit thing to separate my bed from the rest of my apartment? I need a bit more storage for clothing. Actually I’m open to any advice for stuff I can do to improve this part of my apt. Thanks!

Please help me find the right shade of grey!

https://imgur.com/a/ICvruVs

My room is green right now, and I want to paint it a nice neutral color. The ceiling and door are already creamish white. I was thinking about a light grey, and I sampled valspar's 'summer gray' but its way too light and almost looks white to me (see pics). I need help finding a grey that looks good with my floors but isn't too dark because my room is fairly small. I am also looking at Sherwin William's agreeable gray or basalt powder, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance :)

First House Living Room Help Wanted!

Hi fellow redditors! I will be closing soon on my first home purchase and I'm looking forward to the getting to do the fun stuff- decorating. I'm pretty good at clothes and fashion and design/decor in general but I'm stuck as slug in mug. I am able to point out pieces and say "I like that" or "This table would look great with this couch" etc. but I struggle with putting together a cohesive room. I'v

Style: "Masculine," modern, cozy, industrial, farmhouse, mixed metals and wood, minimalism, scandinavian. I'd like a fair amount of (hard-to-kill) greenery in the room (perhaps 2 snake plants along the 2 sections of wall that come in at the room's entrance).

Items: Couch, accent chair(s), lift-top coffee table, end tables, rug, lighting. As far as the rug goes, I'm thinking creams, greys, whites, tans, blues, etc. But I'm open! I'm planning on putting whitish sheer curtains over the window to let in light but allow for privacy.

Budget: $2000 max (ideally less). No more than $300 for the rug.

Specific Questions: Should I put a large piece of art such as this above the fireplace instead of having the TV there? If so, should I place the TV slanted in a corner?

Sectional? If so, how should I place it? Should I put a sofa against the window? Should I put one near the entrance of the room (the back of the sofa facing the kitchen and the front facing the fireplace)?

I had so many more questions but I'm forgetting them now. The wainscoating is 3 feet high. This is a mockup of the room I created.

Other: I would like to have some/most of these books as decor in the room somehow but I don't think there is room for a bookshelf.

Pictures of the room: Living Room 1 Living Room 2 Living Room from Kitchen

I was visiting a friend's swanky studio apt in a big city and really liked the decor in the lobby (they always have the great design).

I'm not too keen on painting the walls (a light greyish-blue) or doing anything to the floor.

Sorry for the length, I'm just a wordy person and wanted to explain everything as well as I can. I'm in the SE US btw. Thank you all so much!

Struggling With How to Furnish This Area - looking for inspo

My husband and I just moved into this house a couple of months ago and I can’t figure out exactly what I want to do in this area. It’s kind of a breakfast nook off the kitchen that looks into a our backyard. We back to a parkland area, so a great view and lighting and there is a fireplace off to the side.

My husband wants to do a small breakfast table there (think small round table and two small chairs), but I want to do something a little more cozy. I recently put my poang Ikea chair there (NOT permanently) and have been loving sitting there enjoying my coffee, doing work, or reading. Is there a way to balance what we both want? We don’t actually eat breakfast that often, so I want the space to be usable and enjoyed.

Photos for reference are the space, the space in relation to the kitchen, floor plan with measurements and the coffee bar and shelving we just put up to the right (opposite the fireplace).
